We strive to provide our guests with a stimulating tour that offers a meaningful experience of San Francisco Bay Area attractions. We want your time with us to be like your favorite school field trip, one that you and your companions remember fondly, not one merely captured in snapshots. Your day is often filled with pleasant surprises as we aim to exceed your expectations. We expect that you will return home relaxed and happy, satisfied with a tour that was exciting yet stress-free and fulfilling—the best use of our valuable time together. We book by appointment and are happy to show our beautiful Bay Area to a solo traveler or groups up to 30. A Friend In Town operates under authority from the California Public Utilities Commission: (TCP 12151-S) and carries $1.5 million commercial insurance coverage on our vehicle, double what's required. Our tours are designed to be full-day excursions (usually from 8:45 a.m. to 6 or 7 p.m.) but can be shortened if you have limited time at your disposal.
