Bon Vivants' Wine Country TourAmong the hundreds of California wineries that offer you great wines, there are a select few where you can enjoy your tasting in a quiet, elegant setting, at your leisure… and seated. For example, at Napa Valley's Swanson winery relax in a fin-de-siecle Parisian salon at a table covered with pink roses, to be guided through a sampling of several excellent wines, accompanied by chocolate or fine cheeses.
Your itinerary could feature tastings at two of the following wineries--one in the morning, another in the afternoon--perhaps with a gourmet lunch midday at Tra Vigne or the Auberge du Soleil or the CIA…or wherever you'd like, plus a less leisurely stop at a third winery:
In recent years many wineries in the Napa, Sonoma and Russian River Valleys have begun requiring reservations for all visitors; confirmed appointments at the foregoing suggested venues must often be made several weeks in advance during the high season (spring break thru New Year's). Tour and tasting fees are often somewhat higher at these wineries than at others. We will make your reservations to complement a relaxing itinerary. What will it Cost?Our fees for this tour are $500 minimum (by party, not per-person) for a 8-9 hour itinerary, with $60 each for any additional hours. You also pay for lunch and tasting fees (which are significant with these wineries).
