Foodies' Delight in our Wine Country

Admit it: you're a foodie. That's OK...you're among friends. You'd like to see Napa or Sonoma or Russian River valleys, but what interests you most is their famous restaurants, diners and breweries.

We offer a sample itinerary but you are, of course, free to substitute other restaurants, wineries, a seated olive-oil tasting or bakery—if their hours and locations work well together. To fit in noshing at more eateries we suggest that you make the bar (rather than a table) your destination. Or stay over for a leisurely dinner at the eatery that's your #1:

      10-  visit the original Williams-Sonoma store
      11-  drive to Napa Valley
      12-  Lunch (sans dessert) at one of Cindy Pawlcyn's restaurants or at Farmstead
                or at the Auberge de Soleil
   1:30- cooking Demo at the CIA
   2:45- olive-oil Tasting at a family businessin St. Helena or at Round Pond...or Woodhouse (chocolates)
   3:30- wine Tasting in Yountville
   5:15- wine Tasting w/cheese plate at DC
   6:15- return drive
   7:30- arrive back in SF
